About
I teach Educational Psychology and Technology in Education at Columbus State Community College. Part of my job also includes coordinating the new Pathways program for students interested in continuing their education at a four-year institution in teacher education.
I am interested in the experience of preservice teachers in community college environments. The various routes towards teacher certification currently available in Ohio differ vastly, and I am researching the experiential variations between community college students enrolled in a teacher education program versus those of students enrolled in traditional four- or five-year teacher education programs in universities.
I am also interested in the relationship between teacher practices, perceived mastery goal orientation, interest, and student creativity.
